With years of programming experience and knowledge
Northwest Technology has undertaken software development
projects for many clients - large and small. Although we are
experienced website programmers in a range of languages
(such as ASP.Net and PHP) we are also able to confidently
develop and deploy traditional applications.
Our software
development side of the business was initiated when we were
commissioned by the
Citizens Advice Bureau to create an
application to allow them to share calendars. The original version of this application,
'Network
Calendar', was written in Visual C++ but as time progressed
so did the software. After a successful implementation for
over 4 years Network Calendar was re-written for the
Internet generation and christened Intrashare.
Packed with a very simple to use interface and hundreds
of new features such as Task Lists, Room Booking, Shared
Contacts, Shared Documents Area and a News & Events page -
Intrashare has transformed into a
web-based
application which will benefit any organisation.

service called Intrashare. Intrashare is a cutting edge team
collaboration application. It allows organisations to share
a variety of information quickly and easily over the
Internet. It has been designed to be as user friendly as
possible, which alleviates the need for expensive training.
You can share announcements/news events, calendars,
contacts, documents and tasks. There are also room booking
facilities and a centralised in-house computer helpdesk tool
